Kurochan is a Japanese language learning application that provides:
- Instant translations of Japanese text with detailed word breakdowns
- Optical Character Recognition (OCR) for extracting text from images and manga
- Built-in browser for translating Japanese websites
- Support for various content types including songs, tweets, manga, and light novels
- Word-by-word analysis with meanings, readings, and grammar information
3. User Accounts and Registration
Some features of the App may require you to create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account
- Maintain and update your account information to keep it accurate

11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KUROCHAN AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Kurochan and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
13. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause or notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Kurochan operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
16. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction, as applicable under local law.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
18. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Kurochan regarding the use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
